First impressions

The website doesn’t really surprise us because we were already familiar with the international site for a long time. The Dutch edition follows the same design and it won’t take a long time to understand that Bet365 is primarily aimed at sports bettors and to a lesser extent at online casino players. This isn’t a disadvantage when it comes to Bet365 as they still offer more casino games than whatever Dutch casino brand.

The Bet365 Casino welcome package in the Netherlands consists of a 100% deposit bonus that can go up to a maximum amount of €100. That’s not an awful lot of bonus cash, but it’s not very different from what other operators in the Netherlands have on offer.

Portfolio

Bet365 is known in the Netherlands for its sports betting offer and it’s easy to understand why. Their sportsbook is quite something and features pretty much all sports events you can think of. The online casino features +1000 games and includes the best providers.

Most Dutch operators work with iDEAL and this also holds for Bet365. In addition, you’ll also be able to deposit your funds with credit cards, via a wire transfer and even with Klarna. This should give most players in the Netherlands enough options to both deposit money and request a withdrawal.

We believe that the arrival of foreign operators can lead to a lot more competitiveness on the Dutch market as offshore brands usually enjoy more experience and bigger portfolios. This is certainly true for Bet365 that has been around for ages and gives players a lot more casino games than local Dutch brands. The small live dealer casino is one of the few drawbacks we’ve come across in our visits to Bet365, but other than that we consider it one of the best casino brands available for players that are based in the Netherlands.
